Hope for the Holidays: A Tree For Taylor
This Holiday Season, Let’s Support Taylor Hanson in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer
This holiday season, we stand alongside a dear friend, community member, and former Horsting's Farm teammate to raise funds for her battle against breast cancer.
Taylor Hanson was diagnosed this summer with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer. At just 29 years old, Taylor is one of the youngest women in BC to face this diagnosis. She is a dedicated small business owner of Ashcroft Bakery, a loving wife, a mother to two young children, and an active member of the Ashcroft, BC community.
Taylor has shown incredible courage, openly sharing her journey through treatment to inspire hope and help others battling this disease. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will face surgery in January. Her resilience is unmatched, and her story is one of strength, love, and determination.
To show our support, "A Tree for Taylor" will be lit up in the greenhouse until December 23rd. We invite you to visit, write a heartfelt message on a pink bulb, and make a donation. All proceeds will go directly to Taylor and her family, helping to ease the financial burden during this challenging time.
If you’re unable to visit in person, you can still support Taylor by donating online. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a meaningful impact and shows Taylor that her community is standing with her.
Taylor has always embodied the spirit of "all you knead is love" through her bakery and her kindness to others. Now, it’s our turn to give back and show her she’s not alone in this fight. Let’s make this holiday season one of hope, love, and unwavering community support <3
PLEASE NOTE:
Online donations are open until December 23rd. To proceed, please ensure you select the December 23rd option under 'Availability' to choose your donation amount. This step is specific to our ticketing system and won’t affect your donation in any way. Thank you for your support!
