" Horsting's Farm is a fantastic place for the whole family. They have animals, plants, produce, bakery, gift shop and restaurant. They have fantastic sandwiches with almost as many options as your local fast food joint, but they are 1000% better! The Potato Bread is to die for, and you can get it on your sandwich! It's so soft, yet a bit dense. It is delicious as toast, or with soup. Their cinnamon rolls are out of this world and are great with a cup of joe. In their produce section, you can find the best whipping cream (Blackwell Dairy) I have ever had. It is so thick and whips up wonderfully. Their store has lots of cute gifts and garden items. If you are looking for charm and good wholesome food, drive the extra 2 minutes north of Cache Creek and check Horstings out! "

" I travel the highway between Vancouver and Prince George an average of twice a month. This is my favourite place for lunch because the people are friendly and actually remember me each time I come back! The sandwiches are made from fresh bread baked on site, the best one for me is the Potato Bread. If you're lucky you can see the dough being kneaded and put into pans prior to baking. There are many choices of ingredients to choose from and all the vegetables are absolutely fresh and grown just outside. And they bake excellent pies from fresh fruit in season. I always drag my business associates in for a bite and they are always pleasantly surprised. "
